COVID-19 – Longford Community Response Forum
Longford County Council has set up a dedicated community support helpline to assist at-risk members of the public and those specifically requested to stay at home in accessing non-emergency and non-medical supports and advice during the current public health emergency.
The helpline will focus on ensuring that vulnerable members of the community or those living alone can access deliveries of groceries, medicine and fuel.
The confidential phone line service has been established by the new COVID-19 Longford Community Response Forum, which consists of local agencies and organisations throughout the county.
Phone lines are open from 9am to 5pm seven days a week.
The helpline number is 043-344255 or you can email covidsupport@longfordcoco.ie
