TUS

Tús is a work initiative managed by Longford Community Resources Clg on behalf of the Department of Employment Affairs and Social Protection (DEASP). Individuals must be on jobseekers allowance for one year and be “signing on” on a full time basis.

The Rural Social Scheme (RSS) was launched in 2004 with the aim of supplementing the income of smallholder farmers or their spouses who are unable to make an adequate income from their farming activity,while at the same time benefiting their local community with their skills and talents.
