Longford Community Resources Limited (LCRL) employs one participant on the Rural Social Scheme at Longford Women’s Link (LWL) in Longford Town. This participant works a 19.5 hour week on the reception desk at Longford Women’s Link where they deal with the public and carry out a variety of administrative duties.
The aim of the Rural Social Scheme is to provide a variety of community based projects with support by harnessing skills and talents of small farmers or their spouses who want to increase their income by working part time in the community. This work is coordinated by Longford Community Resources Ltd.
